#DutytohelpBeauty
Open Letter for the Beauty Industry
Aug 3 2020
Ria-Jaine Lincoln, an accountant who specializes in helping beauty salons, launches a campaign for the government to help the beauty sector, by issuing vouchers, in the same way that the hospitality sector has been helped.
Ria-Jaine states “I feel helpless watching beauty business owners struggle with the last minute changes and disappointment from our government.
We sadly can’t control the government decisions but we can try to get some hope for our beauty industry.
Business is slow, people don’t have the funds or they are scared from the constant scaremongering… that would be easier to accept if other businesses were also restricted but they are not.
- Beards can be trimmed
- Pubs are open
Eat out to help out starts on Aug 3 but what about the #dutytohelpbeauty?
So, today I am urging Boris Johnson to issue vouchers for the beauty industry, just like he has for hospitality.
A ) I have started an open letter to collect signatures on organise.org.uk – https://bit.ly/3gohUbV
B) Please send this letter to your local MP – copy it from here Ria’s blog – https://bit.ly/39MtWZU
Let’s help this sector across the UK. It helps people of all ages, its helps people of all gender and its in desperate need of fair treatment from government.

The government has a responsibility to help the thousands of beauty businesses that are severely affected by the delays in offering close contact services, They have helped hospitality and other sectors, please get behind and support the beauty sector as well.
